I've been reading conflicting reports. Some say Dozier will move to RG and Ezra will stay on the left side. Some say Ezra to RG. Some say Oli will play RG.

I'd really like to see what Cleveland has at left guard. Get him some reps, and let's figure out if we can let Riley go next year. Yes, guard is different than tackle, but if he can't hack it inside I'm worried about the chances of him kicking out. Then again, I thought I heard someone say the front office thinks of him as a guard only?

Apparently Kubiak has stated that Ezra's been working out at Tackle as well as Guard.

I hope this turns into an O'neill kinda dealio.

Quote: @Mattyman said:That would be nice. O'Neill took over in week 6 just like Cleveland is, but Rashod Hill was playing OK when he got hurt. Not great, but nothing like Samia. So there was a somewhat legit reason O'Neill remained on the bench. There is no such reason why any backup worth a damn would remain behind Dru Samia with the way he's playing. I worry we're going to have the same reaction we did when we wondered how bad could Elflein's backup be? And then we found out. This is not a diss to Cleveland (or even Samia), but neither player is ready to be starting in the NFL. |
