JMO, but I think the guy is a pretty good coach.

Guys that won Super Bowls get interviews. That's no surprise. For the record I think he's a extremely average coach who won a bunch of division when he had no competition. Rode the back of a great QB. Even his Super Bowl run seemed tainted by bad calls or "fixed".
Some team will hire him. They never stop to think more often then not, winning doesn't travel well.

Just think we could fire Zimmer and hire Mcfatty. Has he won enough playoff games?

Not sure he'll get another HC gig in this era of young, college offensive minds are all the rage. I think he'd make a decent coordinator though.

Personality wise, he would seem like a better fit in Cleveland. The New York sports media is ruthless unlike the ball licking that goes on in Green Bay that he's used to. Good QB situation for both teams.
I think there are too many openings for him not to get another shot this year, but if not, would you give him an opportunity as the Vikings OC? He can replace Zimmer after he gets fired next year. :p

Quote: @StickyBun said:rI agree. Puker fans threw him under the bus here constantly for his clock management, inability to develop a running game and mediocre bench depth. But game day he never seemed ill prepared and certainly A-A-Ron owes his Ford F-150 to this guy.

Guy was a HC for what 13 years? Each year he had a HOF QB (Farve) and a future HOF QB Rodgers....and he won one superbowl. His game management stinks. He too "awe shucks" back woods hick type all the time. He failed with HOF QB, he will fail miserably without one. The only coach that has had more years with a HOF Qb than McFatty is Belicheat, how many rings does he have????? A hell of a lot more than McFatty.
