The NFL doesn't want to call out anything like this as it tarnishes the brand. Like I've said numerous times, the city, the police force and their neanderthal fans revel in being assholes. Its their identity. They think its a 'tough guy' town and that's how you act.

Sadly it will take someone getting killed for it to change. I do hope the Police make a record number of arrest's from anyone wearing green at the SB.

Being a midwest kid, Carson Wentz has to look at that type of behavior and be as disgusted as we are. I would like to see him as their "star" player be a vocal leader for fan accountability in Philly. If they wont listen to their on field leader, then the league really has to start looking at the issue of fan safety for those attending their events. the very fact that this type of behavior is rampant and ongoing, with no action from the league, says to me that the league has liability if this type of shit is taking place on event grounds.

Yup, I was honestly pondering opening a Twitter account just to tweet these videos to Carson's page and ask him how he feels about it. I can't imagine Carson being proud or supportive of any behavior like that. I can imagine he'd probably issue a very carefully worded response that would serve to not offend that asshole fan base while placating the rest of the league. In the end, I doubt that anything else would happen beyond that. As much as I can imagine that Carson speaking to the fans might actually be acknowledged, I doubt that it would change these assholes. They've been like this for too many years and the league continues to turn a blind eye to it. Goodell could use his NFL czar power to make a change if he wanted, but I'm sure he won't.

Somehow I think Wentz is going to become more NE over time than take a stance as you've articulated it. Perhaps my jaded view of human nature, but he's just a young, impressionable 20 some year old.

They were really not that tough. A couple of them tried to say something to me as I walked through the parking lots, but when you turn to them, they back right off. They are courageous in numbers and with alcohol. When faced with an actual threat, they cowered and said, "hey, just kidding, but you Minnesota people are just to nice"

He will have bad games and they will treat him like shit. They have no real loyalty

He wouldn't respond, nor should he. He can't control it, and those players are well aware of it. They get to deal with the fans when they "demand" (not request) attention and signatures. Players tire of that aggressive behavior real quickly
