That was objectively the worst Super Bowl game in like 30 years

The AFC was kinda terrible this year. Bad game but not a shocking one.

A defensive clinic, at that level in that game was impressive.

Seattle coaches used darnold appropriately and committed to the run.

Solid special teams play, no turnovers.

It worked.

Congrats to Sammy

My wife said the puppy bowl was better. I couldn’t disagree.

Well the real SB was two weeks ago, Rams vs Seahawks.

Seattle played old school,  I didn't watch every series,  but what I did watch was they stuck to their run game and took the points when they were there, otherwise punted and played field position.  For the most part they really limited Darnolds chances to lose the game for them,  which is the opposite of what most teams would be doing these days.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I remember several blowouts that were much more of a snoozefest than this one. But yeah, most were over 30 years ago. 55-10, 46-10, 52-17, 43-8, 42-10. Super Bowls lately have been unusually competitive.

Good defense is great and watching some of the plays Christian Gonzalez made last night was probably my favorite part of the game. But the game wasn't very competitive.

With no Chiefs in there and two coastal teams instead, plus a halftime performance that caters to a worldwide audience and not a Midwest one (where I'm at), hype for the game was pretty low. The widely expected Seattle win wasn't exactly gripping to watch series to series.

Two outstanding defenses! It reminded me of Pitt vs MN SB back in the OG days.

I thought NE's D kept them in it far longer than they should have been.

Once Sea could get pressure with just 4 DL? Game over

Maye looked every bit a 2nd year player and his OL did him no favors starting two rookies on one side.

This one was over b4 it started imo.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
