KOC and other's verbal tics
#1
I'm getting tired of KOC's verbal crutches that add nothing except to make his answers even longer. These are a few: "first and foremost" (pick one--they mean the same) "each and every" (same) "any and all" (same) "not in any way shape or form" (same). Love the guy but it's lazy talk passing as intelligence.

And while I'm unloading, could athletes and coaches drop the word "just" from their answers? I guess it's meant to make the person sound reasonable but it serves no purpose. "We just want to take it one game at a time and just play our game and just take what the defense gives us and just be patient and just stick to the game plan-- AAARGH!
Also, stop the self-interviewing. " do I think we can win? Absolutely. Will it have to be an all out effort? Yes it will. Am I saying it will be easy? No. Can I stop asking myself questions? Please?
Ok first and foremost--I'm done.

The word "just" you want dropped.
My favorite has saying is "definitely definitely" or "most definitely" saying used in interviews. It is said all the time.

"It is what it is"

"We knew we'd have to play all 4 quarters" and/or "the full 60 minutes"

While we're at it, I'd like to declare a moratorium on the following....

“…isn’t getting any younger.”
“…and it’s not particularly close” You know whenever someone feels the need to say this, it's actually kinda close
"bro" used as subject, as in "bro forgot to duck."
"I was today years old…"
"lives rent free…"
"A lot to unpack"

Agree on this point, don't know why people do this.

a couple of other verbal crutches I am tired of hearing:

"but we had a lot of injuries"
"competitive rebuild"
"we just have some things to clean up"
"I have to look at the tape"

So they should shut up and dribble?  I’m fine with it CAAC.  I don’t really read or watch press conferences anymore anyway.
