Sources: The #Packers and #Vikings are also scheduled to have visits with CB Asante Samuel Jr.

But #Panthers are first today, I'm told. ?  twitter.com/schultz_report…

Not even sure what to think, because rumors about this guy coming to us have been rampant...then silent...repeat...all year.

If the trainers sign off and Flo can get him into a useful rotation, I'm all for it (for the right money).
Take the Momentum and Build, Vikings!!

Me too, but I'd rather keep the picks and get Samuel.

I know they could use him but spinal fusion surgery? When Kwesi looks at a free agent does he ask if there is an injury history, if the answer is no, Kwesi says I will get back to you. If the answer is yes, Kwesi says lets talk contract.

I know they need corners and he wouldn't cost draft picks but seriously with the Vikings luck would he even be able to finish the season?

I can understand how you could play with spinal fusion surgery as a linemen, but I don't see how it would work out as a guy that needs to be twisting all over the place.

The Vikings have the worst record among all teams vying for Samuel. Hell, even the Panthers are 5-4. I think if the Vikings were 6-2, he might already be in purple. Vikings are going to have to win him over with either Flores, facilities, culture or the old standby: cold, hard cash.
