Undoubtedly and a great point, but methinks they won't be able to get that clarity with this line unfortunately.

Wow!
@AlbertBreer
says the Vikings are BUYERS and not sellers with the trade deadline coming up on Tuesday.

Breer says the Vikings are specially looking for a CB.

of course they are,  KAM has to do something to try and cover up his inability to use draft picks effectively so he trades them away... If something bad were to happen to KAM... I would be looking at Brez first,  his job has gotten infinitely harder with KAM running the show.

Deadline will probably be a nothingburger as usual. I'd prefer to keep our talented players but of the one's with even a slight chance of being dealt, Addison probably has some nice trade value. But then you're left with Jefferson + Hock/Nailor/Thielen/A. Jones, aka four guys who probably won't be on the team next year. So I don't see that happening.

Ironically one guy who could have some value and could maaaaybe be expendable if we get smoked by Detroit and decide the season is toast, is Jordan Mason.

I think what happens in Detroit is not likely to influence trading at all.

Despite 3/4 and typical Viking drama, this season is still all about what do they have in JJM?

Trading away any of his weapons pretty much takes a piss on everything they've done to date to give him the best chance to be at his best.

Vikings won't trade anything away from the offense. They need to give JJ the full Ferrari....or as close as it can get without its starting center. I could see a trade on defense though—maybe Allen or Hargrave? Mostly likely they'll either stand pat or add a player.

unless they can get youth on a cheap contract with remaining years (multiple) without giving up day 1 or 2 picks... then I say keep the damn picks and if KAM cant figure out how to use them correctly, then find somebody who can. The load he spent on Turner alone would be enough for me to fire him. I thought it was stupid at the time and still do.

Wonder if anything Vikings did today has swayed their front office.

They have depth concerns at some positions.

Depends who's available?
