I think there's a pretty sizable gap between knee soreness and some kind of chronic issue. ACLs typically take a year to fully recover, and Darrisaw tore both his ACL and MCL. That was week 8 last year; this is week 8. So despite all the confidence we all had about his recovery in minicamp, we are just now at one year.

He played 69 snaps versus the Eagles. Probably just sore from that much workload while recovering from the ACL. Then should he go on 3 days rest? Is it worth possibly creating a long term problem for the sake of one game which we're probably going to lose anyway? I'd rather he sit than take a bad chance if that's the situation.

He usually gets time off during the week, the Thursday game threw a wrench in that

Well, let's hope he's at least able to do a pitch count and we're up by some much we don't notice when he's not in.

Dunno, something about CD's attitude about the whole thing strikes me as odd. No doubt, tough injury, extensive rehab, short week, but he has an attitude about it that is puzzling.
