Imo the vague way the HC has publicly discussed the situation opens the door to speculation. And it was Albert Breer who at least is legit versus the kinda made up AI shit some guys bring around here.

It doesn't matter because as of now they're playing Wentz until further notice, and getting exactly the guy whose ceiling is mediocre backup that any sane person would expect.

Its those kinda games that can drive a fan nuts - and are typical of .500 teams.

How the hell did we allow Jalen Hurts to hit on all those 3rd and longs and have a perfect passer rating for the entire fucking game!?

That blows my mind because I've watched a bit of the Eagles this year and Hurts at times looked like he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.  The receivers were grumbling that the team had no passing game and the offensive stats were ass.

I think what will happen next year if JJM plays soon/and for the rest of the year and is only so-so, is KOC not give up on him but he'll bring in some competition. Like an Anthony Richardson, Will Levis, etc. Depending on growth, he might include Brosmer in that competition. That would be my guess.

I think JJ would have to play like shit the rest of the year to see us bring in competition. I think KOC is going to trust the process and let JJ develop. Out of 23 weeks, JJ has missed taking starter reps in 21. He needs time, but he mostly needs reps. I think we'll bring in an experienced veteran to compete with Brosmer for QB2. A Mac Jones type.

The longer this madness continues, with JJ hurt, Wentz struggling, and the Vikings losing, while Darnold and Jones light it up elsewhere, the testier and testier KOC's going to become in those press conferences.

And the testier the fan-base will get...

Missing 21 out of 23 starter reps is unfathomable.

Its what the Vikings do.   Go back and look at ALL of the journeyman 2nd and 3rd string QBs, rookies, etc.   They all seem to have career best games vs the Vikings.   Rick Mirer, Trent Dilfer, Chris Weinke, Josh McKown, Cade McNown,  Jake Browning, Justin Fields, Trubisky to name a few.   Man there are SO MANY.
