For the Bears, linebacker T.J. Edwards is doubtful, while cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are both questionable to play. 

Bears Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson (calf, groin) was limited in practice Saturday for the third straight day and is listed as questionable for Monday night's opener against the Vikings at Soldier Field.

Don't quote me, but I believe the Parks and Rec department of the City of Chicago is responsible for the turf. Now I think they get input from NFL field guys, but this is why it always sucks to some degree. Natural grass just doesn't recover from concerts quickly.
