Another competitive game last night with LA and KC

Mahomes overthrew some open guys deep last night, not at his most accurate. Both Mahomes and Herbert are just big stud QBs, man.....Herbert looked good. As much as Harbaugh wants to run more, the team has to pass. Its their strength. Hampton only averaged 3.2 yards on 15 carries. You watch that these two opening divisional matchups to kickoff the season and then realize Buffalo has the cake division of the Jets, Patriots and Dolphins. That kind of mobility and the big arms on those two just opens up the whole playbook. Man it would be so nice to have that with JJM if he can be the guy.

Philly aside, the AFC has the most elite teams right now...And a big part of it is QB

My $$ is on Balt to win it all this year.

Mahomes couldn't hit a beachball with a baseball bat last night. He's a great QB and has earned some leeway, but I couldn't help but wonder how Vikings fans would've reacted if that were Cousins or Darnold. Herbert was a bit off too. Sure hope those opening day jitters don't show up for JJ Monday night.

Was great to see the Chargers finally beat them after KC has had so many lucky victories agains them. I loved how Harbaugh went for the win on the last drive and didn't just sit on the ball, make them burn their timeouts and punt it away.

Herbert looked like a different QB, much more confident. I think having Keenan Allen back made a huge difference as it seemed like he was more relaxed knowing he had a go to guy when needed. Hoping Thielen brings that same element for JJM.

I really think that Mahomes needs both more preseason reps and quality skill players around him to ever get another ring. This isn't the first time in recent years that KC has started slowly, that the holy Mahomes seemed to lack chemistry with everyone NOT engaged to Taylor Swift, and I'd add that Reid's counting on a lot more speed than beef in his defense this season.

Could be a surprisingly long season for the KC faithful.
It's almost time for the wondering to stop and the games to be played...SKOL VIKINGS!!!

KC has started slow before and always seems to find a way to be there in the end. Kelsey sure seemed slow. She must have sucked the juice out of him! Anyway, me thinks the dynasty is over and some other team will start a new run of dominance. Know any candidates?
SD looked good but I don't think it's going to be them.

How the heck could they not?!

I am preparing myself for a game that is just "not pretty."

Just give me no injuries, a win and a big dollop of hope for the remainder of this season lol!
