Vikings always struggle in Chicago....is the narrative. The reality: Vikings have won five straight there. 

I'm just happy the season's finally here. Fantasy draft tomorrow night, NFL opener the next night, then the long wait through Monday for the game that night. God I hate playing on MNF.

Probably because day 1 Vikings fans like me love watching them get trounced! I lived through the Vikings good old days and still hate Dallas more than Green Bay!

I remember those days too...

Dallas was far and away the bigger foe back in that era....Doomsday D, Too Tall Jones, Coaches Hat, Staubach. 

NFC E rivalries always draw big #'s, then I would say followed by our own North.

Denver is laying 8 against the Titans.

It's NFC East matchup, defending champ at home, Dallas is the biggest ratings draw year in and year out.  The line isn't relevant to what the ratings will be.  It was -7 before the Parsons trade (which shows you the actual value of a high-end DL in the league - not that much in the overall team scheme of things).

I kinda think Eagles win this one - easily.

Isn't the first game usually the previous seasons super bowl champs? Combine that with the focus on starting in division and that reduces the number of options. Probably trying to put those Commanders games at the end of the season because they're more meaningful then.

I like to think that we'll have a very strong, balanced game against Chicago...as we ease JJM into real games and get our running game established. I think the additions to our defensive front are gonna be hellish for Caleb, doubly so as he's trying to...heh...figure out all that "Johnson" in his head!

Unless we've been royally deceived, Caleb's behind schedule and da Bears are gonna be in a rough transition period for a bit. I'm thinking we win by a TD or more.
