Plus, we don't even know if the production over traits thing is even true. Sounds like bullshit coachspeak to me. It's like BPA:  "We're going to take the best players available regardless of need."  Yeah, sure you are. Everyone says that but they don't really mean it.

Vikings recent drafts would have gone better if they just went bpa.  But teams do think in terms of needs for better or worse.
