He got beat badly which caused the Wentz interception for a touchdown. He had a lot to do with us losing today.
His Second start ever as a center....ever....in his life.... Wentz sucked ass today, one play is no excuse for the way he played.

The answer is because our GM signed a veteran with prior concussion issues who is now shockingly having concussion issues, and the reason he signed him is because they didn't trust his draft pick Jurgens to handle the job. So when you don't have options you are forced to do stupid things like play Brandel at center, who like you said...second start at center...ever...in his life and it cost us today. Not the sole reason we lost, but he was involved in a series of costly plays today.
Brandel is a long way down on why we lost today.

Bradbury was let go due to lousy play but now plays well in New England. Ingram sucked but now is highly rated by PFF at Houston. See a pattern?

You can hate on Wentz, but he threw for over 300 yards today, had some great scrambles to extend drives, and we've see much worse QB performances in Minnesota.
2 plays dont make a game, Wentz missed a lot of open plays. Our clock management was total shit and play calling only marginally better. Brandel was the least of our issues.
