Who's Your Stick and Pick Player?
#21
Harmon - He is just a monster and have loved him since day one.

Banks/Zabel/Booker - Not a sexy pick, but it is what it is.

Henderson - He just does so much more than just run the ball. He would be a great piece for this offense and JJ for the next 5 years. Henderson does a lot for the offense. He would be a back that would be JJs best friend while knocking people down or taking it to the house.

Though the Vikes will probably want to trade back, it'll be difficult to do so unless we're willing to trade back for a discount. Maybe if Shedeur or Dart are still on the board and an anxious QB needy team really likes one of them. I won't be surprised if the Vikings actually do stick and pick.

Makes perfect sense with how this draft is being rated...

Yes, it's going to be a tough draft to trade down in. Every team in the NFL knows the strength of this draft is on day two, so every team in the NFL is going to try to acquire as many day two picks as possible. It's going to require a surprise dropper at a premium position and a love sick team who wants him to pull off any kind of trade. But you can bet the Vikings are going to try.

Wonder if we'll have to give-up picks to move down?

Right? There was some silly speculation the year we passed twice and took Kevin Williams at 9 instead of 7 that the Vikings were trying to save money. Of course it was bullshit, but before the rookie wage scale this was something that came up from time to time.

They did get lucky. Actually I think everyone got lucky. The Ravens were still able to get the guy they wanted (Suggs) at 10 and the Vikings still got KW at 9. But it could've been much much worse. Apparently, it was the NFL who screwed up by failing to execute the trade after both teams thought it was a done deal.

I hadn't heard that b4.

I always thought it was just that Viking regime being clowns.

Nope. A story a few years ago came out and it was the NFL that messed it up, not the Vikings. And they left it hanging out there for sportswriters to lay into the Viking's FO as being buffoons. Not as sexy a story if its the NFL's error.
