I'm just a fan who knows squat but KAM should be speed dialing Lamar on repeat until he gets a price. And then he should probably pay said price, whatever it is. We'd be set at QB for the next 8 years and if Lamar gets hurt once or twice in that span that stinks, but you take your high draft pick and fortify. It'd be expensive as hell against the cap but get cheap at RB, shed Hock if you have to, and go win a bleeping ring before we faithful kick the bucket! At the end of the day that last part is all I care about, however they do it.
Correct me if I’m wrong but hasnt Kirk won more playoff games?

both 1-3, Jackson making playoffs 3 of 5 years, and Cousins making the playoffs 3 of 11. That doesn't count Cousins going 3 for 10 in a loss his rookie year as a backup.
The Browns owner really fucked every team in the league with his ridiculous signing of Watson and the contract. There's not a market for a guy like Jackson for 2 first round draft picks??? Really?
Wow, who wouldn't pay two 1sts for Jackson? What the hell are the Ravens thinking?

right?
I say send Kirko to Shanahan and bring Lamar to Eagan. And this from a pretty big K.Cousins fan.

It's bad timing because I'd like to see what year two in this offense looks like for Cousins--and that was a big reason why Wes Phillips declined the Chargers offer. He too wanted to see where this offense could go.
That said, opportunities like this never happen. Jackson is 26 years old. There should be about 25 teams on the phone with Jackson's agent right about now.
People talk about trading two or three 1sts to move up for a college kid? A player who may or may not be able to play in the NFL. Another Rosen? Darnold? Winston? No thanks.
For a proven player like Jackson you pay the moon.

It’s only two first rounders if they choose not to match Jackson’s salary

True...and I'm guessing they probably match. But that has to be a little scary for the Ravens considering there are 10 teams with over $20M in cap space. Two with over $50M.

They’re thinking Jackson has overinflated ideas of his value
and they can’t pay him what he thinks he’s worth and it could become toxic. They’re going to tag him because this allows
him to negotiate on the market and realize that his true worth is closer to
what the Ravens were offering, and once his true value is appraised, they can
sign him to that contract.

Makes some sense. There are a handful of teams who could really use a QB who've come out and said they're not interested in Jackson, so ya never know quite what the situation is. Could be more to this than we know.
