Rashawn Slater By The Numbers
#11

Rick Spielman will be at Northwestern's pro day tomorrow. OL Rashawn Slater and CB Greg Newsome II are first-round prospects who would be great fits in Minnesota. Slater at 14 or with a slight trade up, Newsome with a trade down.

Great school, I might add

I think there's a decent chance that Slater is the BPA at 14.

Draft him, insert at LG, sit back for the next ten years.

I would. Actually did in a few mock drafts, resisting the strong temptation to trade down where I could still land "almost" as good players like Rousseau, Barmore, etc.

Been watching some James Hudson lately. More of a day-two guy, but he could be a target if we go defense in the 1st.

There are a handful of guys like Hudson I'd be happy with Day 2. There's another handful of guys in Day 2 that will have spider charts similar to Hunter.

I would be surprised to see Slater still on the board at #14.  He is such a solid player and Dallas, San Francisco, and the Chargers picking in front of us all have big offensive line needs
