Dexter Lawrence requests trade

What comes comes to mind is my all time favorite fantasy football commercial:  "TJ Hoshmalazode...yes, lock it up!"  ..."TJ Who's Your Mamma..."  "...put 'em on the board, Houshmazilly, got it...Championship!"

LOL!   You are correct.   The Giants want a haul for him, reported starting asking price:

- A late 2026 first-round pick
- A 2027 first-round pick
- A second & fifth round pick

NO WAY.   On top of that he is asking for $35 million a year average.   LOL!

Unless he can also play QB, the Giants are not getting anywhere near that. But y'know what? If I wanted to trade my girlfriend Sydney Sweeney, I'd start really high too.

That's called a starting offer. What they actually expect is to get maybe 1 1st and change, or else for the asking price to be so high as to scare off all suitors so they can turn around and tell Lawrence there's no takers.

I agree but getting a 1st and change is still a far higher price than a 2nd and a 5th.    I agree with that completely.

This happens every year around or near OTAs, disgruntled players flex and demand.....fans go nuts.....and then they resign with their respective teams later in the summer. Wash, rinse and repeat. Gotta love that 24/7 NFL 'news' cycle!
