Some restructures
Some anticipated cuts
Some low-key signings/re-signings
The two big outstanding issues are QB and Greenard.
Did I miss something?

Just the draft. Get that right and we’re golden.

Based on historical draft success, IMO its going to take about half a decade of getting the draft right to get to "golden", but for now I will settle for getting into the above average group.

I'll settle for average as of late...
They're just keeping the train on the rails and then hand the reigns over to a new GM post draft
Still, shitty timing for that. I'm still a bit gob-smacked how poorly they timed all this.

ever since the Walker trade this organization has had some of the most Fd up situations tied to it. this latest chapter hardly makes the list. The Wilfs are great guys for the most part from what I can see, but damnit if they dont need to find somebody else to run the team for them, most of the issues that they have had have been self induced trauma.

While that may be true, look at some other massive strategic messes by other clubs:
Denver eating Russell Wilson's contract so he could play for nothing at Steelers
Jets QB selections Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson a couple years later
Atlanta paying big money to Kirko only to draft Michael Penix weeks later
I could go on and on and on, but the gist of this is that we are hardly alone.

I am not sure if the "well there are bigger f-ups" is really the rationale that we want to apply to management of a multi billion dollar business though is it?

It was happening before the Walker trade. A LOT of screw ups, terrible decisions, and bad drafts. League screwed the Vikings over vis-s-vis Bernie Kosar too. Don't ever want to hear teams and players are treated equally in the eyes of the league when it comes to rules and process. What a joke. But your point otherwise still stands Jimmy

They really need to hit on this draft that much is sure. Need some bonafide young talent at all the levels.

It seems kind of obvious that ownership decided to reign in spending.
If they could hit a decent draft for a change and keep Murray healthy, this could be a better than expected year.
