Barring catastrophic injury, he's never going to play over Greenard and Gink, soooo is there really a point to keeping him is the question? Two years left on his deal, maybe three if we pick up his 5th year option. I don't know. I'm disappointed he didn't make more of an impact filling in for Gink.

He's played a year an a half, and he's super young.
Nobody is trading their draft picks after a year and a half unless they're major douche canoes or too dumb to function, much less a first rounder.
Trade him in year 4, sure.
Regarding injuries, it doesn't have to be a catastrophic injury for a quality backup to have value. Players get injured all the time. Sometimes for a drive, sometimes for 4-6 weeks, sometimes season or career ending.
