I remember some here laughing at the Lions when they drafted Gibbs that it was not a good/value pick. I am not picking on anyone just saying we may have been short sighted on that pick.
Today he scored his 38th TD in 39 games same as B. Sanders.

The ball didnt move at all once it contacted the ground in Kelces clip,  his hand came off the ball,  but it was still firmly possessed and secured in his other hand,  one could argue that it was trapped by the ground,  but in comparing it to TJs,  there was no loss of security.

TJs camera angle in this meme sucks,  to see the ball movement you need the reverse angle ( which was shown in the broadcast) it was clear that TJ did not maintain ball security as it came in contact with the ground,  thus no catch.  It's not a matter of maintaining possession through the play,  which he did,  but the ball hit the ground while in his possession and spun,  which by definition is an incomplete pass.

What we really should bitch about as fans is the ball placement,  TJ had 2 steps on the defender and Wentz put the ball where nobody could get it.  High school QBs make that throw every week.  If we see early that the same Wentz shows up on Thursday and koc doesn't pull him for one of the kids,   then KOC becomes the problem.   There is absolutely zero upside in playing Wentz at this point.
