JMO but he won't hang around too long getting his ass handed to him and I don't mean they'll fire him....I mean he'll quit and go somewhere else or take 'some time away from the game'. His mentality and ego can't handle it. Might be a year or so but its coming. He'll probably blame it on health concerns, which I know he's dealing with, but it wont' be the real reason.

They lost a ton of talent and I dont follow their recruiting...I have no idea how they've done at reloading the pipe-line.
I also dont know how long he'll want to go through the sausage grinder with everything he's gone through personally the last 2-3 years.
Wish him the very best health wise, but maybe he'll say it aint worth it as you point out?

Given his very serious health problems during the offseason, I do not believe he had the available time, nor energy to devote to recruiting in the transfer portal like he did initially at CU. Recruiting at that level is a year-round business.

Trust me, there is ZERO CHANCE he had the time or energy...
Hopefully he's feeling lots better, but he needs to ask himself (potentially) if he is really up for all that emotionally, physically and spiritually.

These programs runs themselves on gameday with all the prep these football programs do. The HC, if he's not calling plays, is mostly ceremonial during a game (not completely of course). Michigan had both Jim Harbaugh and now Sherone Moore suspended for a few games and they didn't miss a beat. The problem with Colorado is they are supposed to be flash but they don't have any talent.
Sidenote: I see Adam Schefter reported yesterday that Baltimore wanted to draft Shedeur Sanders but he told the organization he wasn't 'interested in backing up Jackson', lol. So they said FU. I don't know who told Shedeur he was going high in the Draft, but it impacted how he did pre-Draft interviews and he led with his worst self. I think he felt he could manipulate who drafted him so he acted the fool.
