Didn't know this guy was still around.....oh what might have been before kicking in that glass door, lol. But seriously, this kid had a really nice NFL career for what he is and he's now 32 years old. Not many QBs hang around that long. Top 3 areas of the U.S. for high school QB talent: Texas, Georgia and California.

I would have bet the farm on it - and lost the farm evidently.

4th LB needs to play special teams.  Chamblis was better there.  Gotta include the 3rd phase in the depth guys.

Based on what we have seen in limited pre season action, Murphy looks like a much better prospect than Turner who to me still looks smallish and timid, while Murphy looks like and plays more the part.  Shocked and really disappointed.

Based on what the other GMs have seen they didn't think highly enough to take a flier. He's now on the Vikings practice squad.

All most fans tend to see is pass rush. It's very possible that while Murphy was a fine looking pass rusher, he may not have been very good in coverage or against the run. We all know Flores likes his edges to do all three well.
