Dolphins running back Alexander Mattison underwent season-ending neck surgery Sunday in Chicago, per sources. Mattison hurt his neck during Sunday’s game vs. the Bears, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and had surgery.

sorry to hear, I always like the kid.  hopefully they fixed him good and he is able to return in the future.

Not sure the Dolphins had any big plans for Mattison, but injuries always suck. And its a neck injury, always room for doubt about a future with big collisions with large men.
