If Kirk's ego got adjusted after last season and he'd be willing to take a small deal (as he's going to be very flush with Atlanta cash for some time)...he'd be almost too logical for words. But, the "ifs" are pretty important.

Rodgers wants to start. I don't think the Vikings would bring in a guy that wouldn't want to compete for the job with McCarthy.
