It would take more than just Greenard. They'd have to throw in another pick.

On the surface that would seem to make a lot of sense for the Vikings...to exchange a good player at a position of strength for a good player at a position of need. But I'd be a little worried about Carter's well-known character issues. Why would the Eagles move him? I think I heard some rumblings late last year about some of those character concerns bubbling up again. But don't quote me on that.

Well, they just backed-up a brinks truck for a NT...

I would be very happy with Carter for the right compensation.

He is really what we need and kinda desperately.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Agree. Losing both Allen and Hargrave makes this a need for us. And not a depth need. We have solid enough depth there with LDR, TID, etc. DT is a 1st round consideration for the Vikings. So Carter makes some sense. Even with blurry character concerns, I'd love to see it. It would take DT off the draft needs list, freeing us up to take a safety, running back or even wide receiver with our first pick.

Remove QB from the discussion and DT/S are both top needs imo. I'd prioritize DT as #1 for us with S (1a) and Rb1 #2. We need 3 THREE! starters there.

That WR room is looking mighty thin too as you point out. They got a tough call on Addison coming up quickly, adding to the concern.

Shit time to be w/out a GM - unless that guy eventually is Brez. It's been a while since I have been this disappointed in the Vikings as an org.
