Jeff Stoutland

Is there any real chance the Vikings try to bring Jeff Stoutland into the building?

They just promoted Carter, but Stoutland has a long track record as one of the league’s premier offensive line coaches, and that kind of proven impact is hard to ignore.

I think he retired didn't he? Eagles had always been a power blocking team. They switched to a zone this last year. Makes me wonder if that had anything to do with why he's leaving. If so, he certainly wouldn't be happy in Minnesota.

What I had read is he wasn't given an oppertunity to actually do what his job description said in the run game coordinator.  So if he's a power blocking guy only he's probably not a good fit.
