To not only sign this unknown guy like Minnesota did, but have him perform like this is kind of unreal. 26 years old, very athletic. Bull strong, long arms. Active as hell. Great leverage. Some times guys are late bloomers and get a chance. One of my faves on D now. To see him listed in Jeff Simmons territory is amazing:

Saw him ragdoll the RB in the 4th quarter on Sunday again. Bull strong. What a find.
I liked Harrison Phillips, really liked him as a person, but he seemed to disappear on the field.
Between Redmond and Levi Drake-Rodriguez (a mini-John Randle motor), it's becoming increasingly apparent why he became expendable.

Former 4-star recruit, his combine numbers were ridiculous. 2nd fastest 40 time among DTs, behind only Calijah Kancey, who was a 1st round pick. Best vert, best broad, best 3 cone and best shuttle. The tools of a 1st or 2nd round pick are there.
