That's funny Supa.  When I had Direct TV, it was always going down even in mildly inclement weather.  I couldn't wait to get back on a wired service.

Really!? That's interesting. I live in California where the weather is pretty mild, so I'd only ever have issues during a rare turential downpour or hail. Otherwise I never had an issue and really liked Directv. I could definately see having more of an issue though in areas like the Midwest.

I had DirecTV with Sunday Ticket for nearly 20 years and it glitched out maybe 3 or 4 times over that period of time. And it had to be sheets of rain to do it or the kind of wet, big flake snow flurries that stick to the dish. Also much preferred their navigation. YTTV's is nonsensical.

Just get a vSeeBox. I have regular Xfinity cable with a box on HDMI 2 for other events and new movies. I haven't pulled the plug completely yet. I wanted to know what the box was all about and how it worked first. I am close to pulling it.
