He said what I've posted twice in this thread, already...but, he talks about dropoff in QB play, while I emphasized that we've had to use 3+ starting QBs in 2 of the last 3 seasons.

Same basic issue, plus an ability to have 3 high draft pick QBs in camp for bargain basement pricing.

It's pretty evident to me.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

Yes, and I think you were exactly right (except for that bit about Flores being our head coach in 2027). I think the are just not taking any chances, especially considering that QB1 and QB2 have injury histories.

I also think that the Wentz signing signals JJ staying more than it does JJ leaving. If they really planned on trading JJ this offseason, they would've brought in a much more qualified QB2 than Carson Wentz, who despite all the desperation for QBs around the NFL, sat on his hands all through free agency, training camps and preseason games, only to be signed last minute by the Vikings after they discovered Howell couldn't play.

And now this guy is going to be your QB2? Behind the oft-injured Murray? I don't buy it. It will be a competition but I think JJ wins QB2. He has to improve, but he just offers so much more than Wentz does.
