to someone Ive been dogging all season...

Aaron Jones Sr yesterday could have tapped out and instead took a beating for the team.

That was a hella example to set.

Yeah, I even found myself wondering if we should bring him back next year. He's under contract, but there's no way we'll pay his $15M cap hit. I've been under the impression we'd just release him, but now I'm wondering if we might not restructure and bring him back.

It would be a really good move by the Vikings to approach Aaron Jones about restructuring his contract.  He's at an age where it would be in his best interest to do it and stay around another year or so.

If KOC had lost the locker room, I don't think that happens. Kudos to Jones for doing that.

Me too...

For the right $$ sure - but that rb room still has to get younger and better

I have no idea if he even wants to play another year or not?

That's why he's been loved by teammates here and in Green Bay.  Great leader, great locker room guy.  Playing football means something to him.  Easily coulda checked out playing through the shoulder and then the ankle injury, but he didn't.  Nothing but love for Aaron Jones.
