I love Billy Bob Thornton

I watched season one because I like Billy Bob. But the writing and characters on this are mostly trash. The females are mostly gross caricatures of actual human beings which makes me think the screenwriter must hate women. The dopey son is acted by a guy who seems like he should be working the parts counter at an AutoZone, not playing on a t.v. production.

I tried to watch season two but gave up about halfway through ep 3. It's too much cartoon soap opera and getting more dull by the moment. I love Billy Bob, that's really what kept me there for a while, but him making dorky speeches about the importance of oil and tolerating his wife's psychosis is just kinda hilariously bad television. He deserves better material.
