Hard to see Burrow getting traded. Without Burrow, what's the point of keeping Chase and Higgins? It would have to be a total tear down, which rarely works. Good luck finding another Burrow, Chase and Higgins. I think the Bengals probably just do whatever it takes to make Burrow happy.

But that's the thing: they've already done that. They've got a ton of money baked into Chase and Higgins and it has to come at the expense of something on the team, and that's the defense. I think Burrow is mostly grousing here, but the added frustration is all the injuries he's had to come back from and the team is STILL ass.

Do we know if he's more frustrated with being injured or more frustrated with the defense?

Like what is he asking the team to focus on? More OLine help or more defensive help?

Obviously, it's not a pure one or the other thing, but you only have so many high draft picks and expensive contracts you can really work with.
