He was doing well but the last preseason game he flubbed two holds for Reichard on FG attempts. Can't have that.

Should have plenty of time to practice holds on the practice squad if they liked his punting. I think they did.

Yes, he has to clear waivers to be signed to the PS. So this move was required.
