I dont know ow where you live,  but I think SD is pretty conservative and I hear plenty of bitching about this or that..  but pollsters dont seem to call here much.

Definitely more conservative than where I am than almost anywhere in the US and that’s the point.  Trump is center right and doing an excellent job of playing to that base. He isn’t going to lose the conservatives in a two party system.

He is losing the blind adoration from many,  you dont have to agree,  but I can tell you that among many conservatives the Teflon coat he came into office with this term has taken a few scratches.   Hell I spent 3 days up in the bakken oil field last week and even up there people were grumbling about some of the issues.

And this isn't about election support,  he isnt going to be running again,  I am merely speaking from a general sense... again you dont have to believe me,  I am simply relaying my observations when I am out visiting with conservatives.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I consider it to be about election support.   Vance will win or lose on Trump's overall support as he leaves office.  I do want him to maintain strong support, but the area I'm least concerned are highly conservative voters.  Even voting for a Libertarian candidate in SD doesn't hurt the election chances.  He needs to focus on states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin and making them even stronger red.  I think he's making slow inroads to doing so.  He'll have to make the tariffs work in favor of Detroit, which I think you'll see in his efforts to repatriate some of the auto production that occurs overseas.

Plus, Trump is a King so he can serve as long as he wants in case you haven't heard.
