Micoxophlopin Pulling Out NFL Advertising Dollars

NFL broadcasts lose Viagra, Cialis as major advertisersPosted by Michael David Smith on July 10, 2017, 6:45 AM EDT[Image: 490807737-e1499683499457.jpg?w=250]Getty ImagesTV ad sales for NFL games have been flaccid this offseason, and erectile dysfunction drugs are part of the reason.
Advertising Age reports that the makers of both Viagra and Cialis have declined to buy any advertisements on NFL games for the coming season. That’s a massive change for two products that were once among the top advertisers on NFL games.
The reason is apparently less about the NFL’s ratings decline last season than about pharmaceutical patents: Both Viagra and Cialis will soon be available as generic drugs, and therefore their makers no longer feel the need to advertise the name brands.
That’s bad news for the NFL’s network partners: Last season, the makers of Viagra and Cialis spent more than $50 million airing commercials during NFL games.

  Eye Candy...

We went to one of our local art framing businesses over the weekend to get a Beatles Poster of my wifes framed. This guy does a lot of the Vikings official framing work.

Yes, they have official framing work to be done as you could imagine...Big bids going out for the Eagan facility right now for art, jerseys etc..

So I walk in there and see a signed, framed Barr Jersey, Smith Jersey and a framed tix from very first and last games ever @ Metrodome (1982 Vikes vs Seattle/2014 Vikes vs Detroit) along with a bunch of other cool stuff.

Fun times...Nope, not of it for sale to me.

I was at that very 1st Vikings game at Metrodome in 1982 and (no air-conditioning for a pre-season game btw) and vs Detroit in 2014. I saved my tix from that last game, now I'm on a mission to find a Vikings vs Seahawks tix from 82...Going to frame em up too, I thought its a cool idea.

Done Downing Diet Dew, Dramatic Declines Demonstrated, Documented

About mid April, I finished the bottle of diet Dew in my frig...I used to down about a six pack of bottles a day...I had worked my way down to about two to four a day...but never completely off...replaced it with raspberry green tea and about a gallon of water a day...down about 15lbs...boarding on a three pants size drop...about 10 lbs from my goal weight, might drop another 10 to get down to 225 @ 6'-5"...

Not sure if it's related, but my allergies which seemed to be getting worse every spring and summer have been a complete non factor...also noticed that the arthritis that I was getting in my hand has diminished...can't remember the last time I took an Aleeve...

What a great board/family we have
Posted by: SkolVikings44 - 07-10-2017, 03:57 AM - Forum: The Longship - Replies (2)

I don't post as much as I should, but I appreciate all of the people and contributions that make this place up. I don't pay attention to the drama (I don't understand why people get so worked up but whatever), I just enjoy all of the view points, opinions, and info that a wide variety of personalities bring here. Our training camp and tailgating events are epic. Again, I don't post as much as I should, but I feel like we know most of us all pretty well for how much time we all spend here.

Where am I going with this? Last week I was in the Boston area for a family reunion, and I had been talking with Viking Bob about meeting up to grab some drinks. At last season's tailgating weekend, Bob and I talked about shooting darts, and I couldn't miss an opportunity to take him on in some rounds of darts on his home turf. We met up, and I got my ass kicked in darts - not just by Bob but his son too. I of course had more than a couple of drinks. What a great time! Bob, thank you for your hospitality! TDs Rocks!

For anyone who hasn't been to a VikeFans event but has thought about it, I recommend making it happen. Training camp is right around the corner or whatever we set up for the tailgate, come hang, it will be an epic time.
