Who from 98 or 09 would you add to this team? Or vica versa?

Gotta exclude Moss from the discussion though, thats too easy. Maybe Favre too.

Heard this on local sports radio the other day...Great discussion on the airwaves.

Soaring Saints tandem, Vikings ascension accentuate Adrian Peterson's fall

I think most of us can be anointed as prophets for predicting something along these lines, that there was not enough tread left on the tire, and we were an ancient NFL team because we "ran first through AD", allowing all defenses to stack the box.
But our collective predictions have come true in an emphatic way, and not just by OUR success without AD, but with the exclamation point put up there by the Saints.
Freed from the shackles of a) that contract and b) his ego of demanding HE gets the ball, we have become balanced.

Are surging Vikings getting help from the Other Side?

Psychic Ruth Lordan has some advice for Vikings coach Mike Zimmer. Maybe he should listen. The last time Lordan gave Zimmer something, the Vikings won. Then they won again and again and again and again and again and again and again.
Eight straight games. Eight straight wins.
Lordan is convinced it’s no coincidence. She’s the Edina-based psychic who gave Zimmer a crystal ball just days after the Vikings lost to the Detroit Lions 14-7 on Oct 1.
The Vikings haven’t lost since, which comes as no surprise to Lordan.
“Why would I be surprised?” she asked.
The crystal ball came with a large purple veil and a little bit of magic.
Lordan’s advice has to do with keeping that magic flowing because the way she sees it, if the magic continues, so will the win streak.
“I heard from a TV reporter that Mike Zimmer had it on his desk,” Lordan said. “I think it would be good for him to keep it there. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. And remember, it’s the crystal ball plus the purple veil.”
The veil was given to Lordan by the wife of Doctor Fink, who played keyboard for Prince’s band, The Revolution.

Obviously, don't want a Viking's loss, but this is my prediction...no coincidence these are all road teams. Another big week of important NFL games, good stuff.

James Declares But Won't Go Bowling

Derwin James - DB - Seminoles
FSU redshirt sophomore S Derwin James announced that he will declare for the 2018 NFL Draft.

In his Instagram post announcing the news, James also stated that he will not participate in the Independence Bowl against Southern Miss. James was a bright spot in an otherwise dreary season for the Seminoles, posting 84 tackles, 5.5 TFL, two interceptions, one sack, and one defensive touchdown. He was the only FSU player named first-team all-ACC this season. James is considered by most to be the class' top safety, just ahead of Minkah Fitzpatrick (Alabama). A great pre-draft process could get James into the top-five. Barring his medicals turning up something unseemly, the top-15 looks like his floor. James missed almost all of the 2016 season upon tearing cartilage in his left knee.

"Vikings end Panthers home winning streak with dominant winCHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Sam Bradford threw a touchdown pass to Kyle RudolphMarcus Sherels returned a punt for a score and the Minnesota Vikings snapped the Carolina Panthers' 14-game home winning streak 22-10 on Sunday.
The Vikings (3-0) put the clamps on Cam Newton, intercepting the league's reigning MVP three times and sacking him eight times, one of those resulting in a safety by Danielle Hunter.
The eight sacks were the second-most ever against Newton."

I realize this is last year and apples to oranges yada, yada, yada but Cam was never the same after this game last year. The 8 sacks really impacted him and I have no doubt that Cam is still haunted by this game
